  1. Hey Niamh, loved reading your DunDoc, my favourite type of games are driving/ racing games and I'm also creating a racing game so it was really interesting to see how different your game and story differs from mine despite them both falling under the same genre. Really like your game it sounds really fun and exciting, and I love the way each race will be in a different course it keeps players interested and curious. I was wondering how many races/levels do you think you'll have before the player wins the game completely? The pictures of your game so far look really good I can't wait to see how the game turns out!

  2. Hi Niamh! Thanks for the comments on my blog. Sorry to hear that you need to wake up so early for college, it really is a pain xD
I read your dundoc and must say, it looks pretty well detailed, and I like how you included images too, as they really help to imagine the game better, but if I was you, I would set amount of laps to two or three, as one sounds too little and the game would be very quick.
Have you thought yet what kind of cars you are going to use in your game? Are you going to style them like the real cars or keep them plain and one-color?
Anyway, good luck with your prototype!

  3. Hi Niamh!
Really good DunDoc with a lot of detail going into your game. I think racing games are very unique to make and it will be interesting to see how your final game turns out. I think this game would be good to play with others and have scores displayed for each player to see who is the best. Different race tracks will be good as it won't make the game feel repetitive and will offer the player a different experience. I really like that you showed images for the player view which will show how we see the game and it definitely has the view of a race game. Would there be challenges to complete like finishing a lap or race in a certain time and if so, would you receive a special rewards like new cars or extra money? Looking forward to seeing your final game and good luck.

  4. I have to say your game is looking fantastic, I have always enjoyed racing games, some of my favorites have always been need for speed, gran turismo and Collin McCree rally, I can see how much work you have put into your game, it defiantly shows, I can't help but wonder how it will turn out, I defiantly think you could take some inspiration from other car games to add to what is already an amazing looking game, either way I bet it will blow us all away, keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing it finished :)
